What we publish on the Coupon Kent blog
The blog exists for the part of saving money that doesn't fit on a coupon card. Every guide here is written by a Coupon Kent editor — not a freelancer on Fiverr, not a large-language-model first draft polished by an intern — and it gets published only after the editor has actually used the brands and offers being recommended. Three types of articles get the most space:
- Buying guides. Long-form pieces comparing every credible brand in a niche (best VPNs for travellers, best beginner DSLR alternatives, best meal kits for a household of two) with the current best promo code attached to each recommendation. Refreshed quarterly so the codes don't go stale.
- Seasonal deal roundups. Time-boxed pieces covering Black Friday, back-to-school, Prime Day, end-of-season fashion clearances, Single's Day, EOFY in Australia, and the post-Christmas reset. Published just before each event with what to expect, then live-updated during the event.
- How-to-save explainers. Mechanic-level pieces on cash-back stacking, credit-card portal multipliers, student/military/healthcare verification programs, gift-card arbitrage, and the small print of common rewards programs.
Our editorial standards
We don't accept money to feature a brand in a roundup, and we don't reorder recommendations based on which affiliate program pays the highest commission. Some of the links in our articles are affiliate links — when you click one and complete a purchase, the merchant pays Coupon Kent a small commission at no extra cost to you — but the recommendation came first and the affiliate link came second. Where two brands are genuinely interchangeable, we say so. Where one is better and the other pays better, we recommend the better one. Read the unedited version of this on our affiliate disclosure page, and our how-we-test methodology for the full editorial process.
