About BrightFunded
BrightFunded, established in September 2023 and based in the United Arab Emirates, is a prop trading firm led by CEO Jelle Dijkstra. Operating for approximately two years, the firm has built a solid reputation with a 4.5-star rating across 105 reviews. The platform supports traders across multiple trading environments, including its proprietary DxTrade solution, cTrader, and MT5, providing flexibility for different trading preferences. Traders can fund their accounts via Apple Pay, credit/debit cards, cryptocurrency, Google Pay, or PayPal, with payouts processed through bank transfers or crypto. The firm structures its challenges in a two-step format across various account sizes, from 5K to 200K. The firm also offers evaluation rewards and scaling opportunities, making it suitable for disciplined traders who want straightforward conditions without excessive restrictions.

Consistency Rules
- Best-day cap: No single trading day may account for more than 30–50% of total profit (varies by program — see firm's official terms for the exact threshold).
- Minimum trading days: Most evaluation tiers require at least 4–10 active trading days before a payout can be requested.
- Position sizing: Disproportionate position sizes vs your historical trades may trigger consistency-rule reviews.
- Repeat performance: The firm expects sustained, repeatable performance — single-day windfalls won't qualify for early payouts.
- Exact thresholds and program-specific consistency rules are documented on the firm's official site and may change. Always re-verify before purchasing.
Firm Rules
During the evaluation phase, traders must actively trade on at least 5 separate days in each phase. A trading day is only counted when a trade remains open for a minimum of one minute. This requirement is waived entirely if you add an extension to your account.
There are no restrictions on news trading during your evaluation period, allowing traders to capitalize on economic announcements and high-impact events without additional compliance concerns.
You may copy trades between accounts that you personally control, whether those accounts are with BrightFunded, other prop firms, or retail brokers. However, copying trades across accounts owned by different individuals is prohibited.
Automated trading systems and Expert Advisors are permitted on the platform, provided they operate within the firm's stated trading conditions and do not breach any other established rules.
Accounts must have at least one trade placed every 30 calendar days. Failure to meet this requirement results in account deactivation. If the account is not reactivated through support within six months, it will be permanently closed.
Traders are permitted to hold positions overnight and across weekends, including when trading cryptocurrency, without additional penalties or restrictions.
Prohibited activities include hedging across multiple accounts or firms, grid trading, arbitrage, tick scalping, high-frequency trading, and exploiting platform errors. Risk-abusive strategies such as overleveraging, one-sided bets, and coordinated multi-account manipulation are also forbidden.
Using VPNs or accessing your account from different IP addresses is acceptable when traveling. However, only the account owner may execute trades; account sharing is strictly prohibited regardless of location.
Once your account equity rises 6% above the initial balance, the maximum loss limit becomes locked at the original balance and will not increase further.
When you reach at least 10% profit growth on a funded account, you become eligible to receive a 15% evaluation profit reward as recognition of your performance.

Payout Policy
How to qualify for a payout
- Hit the profit target while staying inside the firm's drawdown limits across every evaluation phase.
- Trade enough days. Most firms require 4–10 active trading days before the first payout request can be filed.
- Stay consistent. Best-day caps (30–50% of total profit on any single day) apply at most firms — see the Consistency Rules section above for the exact threshold.
- Exact thresholds are firm-specific and may change. Always verify on BrightFunded's official site before purchasing a challenge.
Scaling Plan & Premium Programme
- Account growth: Funded accounts typically scale by 25% (or fixed-step tiers) each time the trader hits the firm's profit + consistency milestones.
- Profit-split upgrade: Scaling tiers often unlock an improved profit split (e.g. 80% → 90%) on the funded account.
- Maximum capital cap: Most firms cap scaled capital at $1M–$2M per trader; some run a separate "Premium / Supreme" track for very high performers.
- Reset / breach handling: Hitting drawdown typically resets your scaling progress. Most firms offer a one-time discounted reset.
- Exact thresholds, scale-up cycle length, and Premium-Programme terms are firm-specific. See the AI Summary above for the latest values on file, or verify on BrightFunded's official site.
