You may copy trades between your own ThinkCapital accounts. To copy trades from external prop firm or personal accounts into ThinkCapital, your ThinkCapital account must serve as the master. At least one trade must be placed every 30 calendar days to maintain account status. Accounts that fail this requirement face automatic termination; challenge accounts forfeit funding, and funded accounts receive no payouts.
The firm prohibits any trading approach resembling gambling or reckless betting. All trading must demonstrate professional discipline, robust risk management, and consistent methodology.
Banned strategies include copy trading between unrelated accounts, grid trading, hedging across multiple accounts, collusion, account sharing, latency arbitrage, high-frequency trading, Martingale systems, and unauthorized Expert Advisors. News trading, account sales, and platform exploitation are also strictly forbidden.
VPN usage is generally prohibited; multiple users on a single account and unapproved automation are forbidden. VPN or VPS connections during KYC/AML verification procedures can trigger account denial or breaches.
Margin requirements may increase during selected high-impact economic events for certain instruments, adjusting leverage dynamically to manage risk exposure.
News trading is strictly prohibited on both Challenge and Funded accounts. No trading activity—including opening, closing, or hitting stop-loss or take-profit orders—is permitted within 2 minutes before and after high-impact news events marked on ForexFactory. Violations trigger immediate account termination and forfeiture of all profits.
Crypto positions may be held overnight and across weekends without restriction, providing flexibility for swing-trading and longer-term directional strategies.
On Lightning (1-step) challenges, the maximum overall drawdown locks once the account grows by 6% above the initial balance, protecting earlier gains from recovery attempts.
